Key Club is a global organization founded in 1949 that is dedicated to helping students build their communities. The mission statement reads "Key Club is an international, student-led organization that provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership." The core values every member of Key Club should work to develop is leadership, character building, caring, and inclusiveness.

Owen Smith- Secretary - My name is Owen Smith and I have lived in Healdsburg since I was 1 year old. I am currently a senior at Healdsburg High School and have been in Key Club since my sophomore year. I wanted to join key club because it was a way for me to give back to a community that has done a lot for me.
Richard Bugarske- Advisor- Mr. Bugarske was raised in the Midwest. He headed off to the University of Wisconsin in 1965, spent 3.5 years in the Army and eventually graduated from Sonoma State in 1974. He then worked as a teacher and administrator in Windsor, West Side, and Healdsburg retiring in 2008. Mr. Bugarske has 3 children (all HHS grads) and 8 grandchildren. He is very involved in many local nonprofit organizations including as a Key Club advisor.
Nancy Arsenault- Advisor- Nancy Arsenault was born and raised in Southern California. After graduating from Long Beach State University with a degree in art she pursued a graduate program at the University of Santa Barbara in Special Education. Moving to Orange County, she became a teacher for students of special needs for 35 years as an Education Specialist, retiring in 2017. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in Theology with a specialization in Urban Ministry and is working closely with her church and the nonprofits in the community as well as being a Key Club advisor for Healdsburg High School.
Yasha Mokaram- Advisor- Yasha Mokaram was born in Santa Rosa and graduated from Analy High School in 2002. After graduating from UC Santa Barbara in 2007, he started an NGO called Global Student Embassy and helped to start branches in Tanzania, Peru, and Argentina. In 2010 he received his teaching credential from Sonoma State University and began teaching World History at Healdsburg High School in 2012. Since then, he has become the varsity boys basketball coach and had three children with his beautiful wife Sara. Supporting students and their clubs, including Key Club, is one of his favorite hobbies.
